Happy New Year to y’all! I hope that you make those resolutions {if your a resoluting setting type of person} and reach ‘um and go further than you ever imagined yourself doing!
I have a lot to work on in 2010. But right now, this post is about the best of 2009…This Southern Girls 2009, to be exact.
In January I faced a fear of going under the knife when I had my wisdom teeth removed. I was scared to death to be put to sleep but I came through like millions of others do daily.
In February I vowed to finish out kitchen, but never got around to it. So it still sits incomplete.
In March I was busy as a bee. Starting Kelsie’s Pottery Barn inspired bedroom and the girls bathroom.
In April I started reading Twilight and I also began the Spring Fitness Challenge. As well as started What’s For Dinner Thursdays here on the blog.
In May I revealed Kelsie’s bedroom, and watched my 10 year old grow up.
In June I won the Spring Fitness Challenge, therefore proving to myself that I can do ANYTHING that I really set my mind to do. I updated a mirror that was in our home for as long as I can remember. I learned that not everybody can make those infamous cupcake pops. And I made a super cute 4th of July Raggamuffin garland.
In July I made the most awesome memo board. Painted Kayla’s desk and chair. I also learned how to clean sterling silver jewelry for practically free!
In August I made the tough decision at sending Kelsie to pre k as opposed to home schooling her.
September I showed y’all the easiest fall craft ever!
In October Zack and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. I made felt Halloween ornaments, and a scary craft. And we bought the biggest thing of crushed garlic I could find! {btw, we are only half way through it}
November rolled around and on the 2nd I could no longer wait to pull out my Christmas decorations. The girls’ trees went up first. I also discovered that I was Kelsie’s best friend. And of course New Moon came out so I had to dedicate a post to it!
And then December…the last bit of 2009. I was so busy with school parties for both girls and then baking all sorts of goodies to snack on. I didn’t get many things posted but I tried to at least join in the home tours, we fed the reindeer and made home made apple cider!
And that was the best {and maybe not so best} of 2009. 2010 bring it on!

I'm so impressed. I don't think I could do a wrap-up that wouldn't be 2 feet long! I hope that 2010 is a wonderful year for you too!
