Sneak Peek at the Bathroom & Kitchen

So here are a few things that are have gotten done over the past week.  We didn’t get to the kitchen like planned over the weekend.  But that is ok.  The flooring goes down in there this weekend!! 
So let’s see the kitchen first. 
Before – Behind the stove was once a mirror, not liking to see the grease splatters or myself cooking, we took it down and had to look at this….
 After – I love the metal look.  I think it really makes a huge difference in the room!  Better pictures will come when this side of the kitchen is complete.
There is no before for this door, because well it’s just a door. *smiles*  It leads into our laundry room.  I thought that it needed some chalk board on it…So voila!
You can also see the one side of the kitchen complete and the other not!  Oh and we have the molding to frame the board, we just hadn’t gotten it up yet.  That is also this weekend.
My little project that I was working on in the kitchen.
Before – Just a plain Jane gold frame waiting for a new look.
After -  A new look….chalk board paint and some crafting paint. Hanging over the telephone makes for a perfect message board.
A sneak peek at the bathroom….
This mirror was one of the three things that received a coat of brown spray paint. 
The new beauty hanging in her new home.  But you won’t see the whole room until next week.  We have the new vanity lighting and I have also a great idea to hang on the wall in here.  Oh and that is the paint color.  Parchment Paper by Behr.  I love it.  It’s in eggshell so the sheen doesn’t compete with the tile.
