Am I the only one super stoked to see June?! Well, I guess that could be for a couple of different reasons. One, Kayla’s birthday is tomorrow. She’ll be 13 ya’ll! Holy moly. Two, the last day of school is Tuesday, the 5th {woot!}. Zack will be 32 on the 13th. Then I’ll be, um, 30 on the 22nd. Yep, the big 3-0. I may cry. For real.
Kelsie’s our only little odd one out with a birthday in August. But she don’t mind. :-)
Tomorrow we’ll take Kayla out to eat for dinner like we do every year and probably end up at Miracle Strip to round out the evening.
And I know that our weekend plans include the pool. And well that’s probably it. I would love to get the telescope out and have smore’s one night, but because of the killer heat that may or may not happen. It has been ridiculously HOT!! Tell me that we aren’t experiencing global warming?!
Today at school we are doing our class water day. The kids will run around in sprinklers, blow bubbles, and play with beach balls. All the while we grown ups sweat to death. ;-) I kid. But really, I’m sure that I’ll sweat off at least 3 pounds. That’s how hot it is. I was going to take Kelsie but she woke up this morning and complained that her ear was still bothering her. I think by now {4 days later} that her antibiotics would have taken care of it. Hmmm. I may have to think about running her to the walk in clinic in the morning if she’s still hurting.
Anyways. Hello June!

I'm pretty excited about June too. I'm thinking we'll put together a list of things we want to do this summer. Yay for you being almost done with school!!!!
