miscellany monday

Miscellany Monday @
lowercase letters

Poptarts and chocolate milk are the request for breakfast this morning.  And since it’s Monday and nobody ever wants to get up on Mondays, it’s an ok breakfast with me.  Kelsie gets up every morning and hides her head on the couch as she awaits her breakfast.

Kayla has a dr’s appointment today for a booster for one of her shots she got before school starts.  Needless to say she’s not thrilled about being checked out.  I can’t blame her.

We had another round or two of Scrabble this weekend.  It’s beginning to be the game that’s requested all the time.  I’m good with that.  It’s fun and educational.

Only can you go to Sam’s Club and come out with food, clothes, house hold goods and pillows.  {oh wait, you can do that at Walmart too!} Ha!  But I don’t count Wally World because we don’t go there.  Like my new pillows!

The girls and I went and got pedicures on Sunday afternoon.  It was Kayla’s first and she really enjoyed the pampering.  Kelsie sat up in my lap the entire time and she had her toe nails painted too.  I have to say I love this new place that we went too.  Well new to me, it’s been open for a while.

And so today begins another week!  I was thinking about how close Halloween is.  It’s crazy how quickly October has flown by.

October is really flying by and I can't believe it. I found myself thinking about Thanksgiving this morning. We've been doing a lot of Pop Tarts for breakfast...I understand. Scrabble is a great game and I think it's great that you all sit and play together. Cute toes :)

Looks like a fabulous weekend. I am thankful I am not the only mom that has kiddos hating to get up on Monday morning. I am with you on the Halloween thoughts. I need to start figuring out how we will make all the family stops in one night.
Hope you have a great day!
