Kelsie’s Field Trip at Sweatmore Ranch {strawberry farm}

Kelsie’s class went on a field trip yesterday to the strawberry farm. {Sweatmore Ranch}  It’s one of the field trips that Kayla took when she was in kindergarten as well.  I have never been.  I wasn’t able to go when Kayla went and I didn’t go with Kelsie either.  Zack went.  He went with her since the last field trip she was going to go on, she got sick and didn’t end up going.
We are actually planning on going one Saturday as a family because after looking at the pictures Zack took, all 176 of them, it looks like a fun place to visit. {and pick strawberries!}
Kelsie had a blast petting all the animals, watching them feed a calf {just a few weeks old}, petting a bunny, riding on the hay ride and picking her own strawberries.

Oh and I’ll be sharing the strawberry cake recipe that I’m gonna make with the strawberries she picked.  {her request}  Thing is I’m not using strawberry jello or white cake mix.  This cake is gonna be from scratch. :-)
