Pizza Pasta Bake

I created this the other night.  We always eat pizza once a week as well as spaghetti, once every two weeks.  Well I thought, why not put them together, sorta.  So this idea was created and this recipe was born.  It’s delicious!

What do you need?

  • 1 box pasta {I chose to use spaghetti noodles because that’s what I had}
  • 1 jar Home Style Ragu pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package {not the kind in the box} pepperoni's
  • 2 tsp Italian season
  • 1 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

What do you do?

  1. Cook your pasta and drain well
  2. In a large bowl, mix your pasta, pizza sauce, crushed garlic, 1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning, and garlic powder together.
  3. In a brownie pan {9X9} 1/2 your pasta on the bottom and sprinkle with 1 cup cheese and pepperoni's side by side where you can barely see any cheese.  Layer your the remaining pasta on top with the remaining cheese and lay your pepperoni’s like you would on a pizza.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes until your cheese is bubbly on the top.

Get creative and add any pizza toppings your family likes.  You could even mix in more pepperoni’s in your pasta before layering.

Enjoy!
