It’s Official and I have Time to do Again and Ramblin’

Finally, after a long ordeal, I have the job.  I am the Para in the PreK class I’ve been subbing in.  I know that most of y’all read that post a week or so ago about my cousin applying for the position.  Well she wasted her time, because it’s mine! :-D  I took the Para test on Wednesday and passed it with flying colors.  Only 5 points below the highest score!  Yay Me! {as London Tipton would say}
With a lot of relief off my shoulders now I am sleeping better.  Plus we’ve gotten in a good little routine and I’m able to actually stay up later.  {thank goodness!} Going to bed between 8:30 and 9 every night was really cutting into Zack and our spending time together time.
Last night I watched Top Chef {from Wednesday nights episode}.  Do any of y’all watch that on Bravo?  I am obsessed, been watching it ever since the beginning.  I get so excited every season.  My favorite dude
{Kenny} left a few weeks ago and  I was heart broken, but I picked a new favorite and he’s {Kevin} one of the final three!!  Yay!!  I hope he beats Angelo next week and Ed next week.  Although Angelo is a great chef, I just don’t like his attitude. at. all.  Plus I’d really like to see a black person win it.  Because with this being the 7th season, I’m beginning to think they {Bravo/Top Chef judges}  may be a little racist. And in all honesty Kenny was AWESOME!  Kevin has totally stepped up and deserves the Top Chef title. {this is all my opinion}
I plan on cleaning house tomorrow and working on reviews.  I have SO many and I’m going to get all caught up.
We may or may not go out and eat tomorrow night.  One of our favorite restaurants is offering kids eat free for their one year anniversary {at a location}.  I thought hmmmm, free food for the kids!  But then with further thought, I’m not sure I want to waste the money on going.  I have a different outlook on the whole eating out experience.  We didn’t have the money to eat out for a long time.  I would always be envious of those that eat out all the time.  However, now that we do have the money, I don’t want to waste our money on something that would cost more than eating at home.  I can make a meal cheaper at home than out.  And if the meal I am making at home is pricey, we always have more left overs than ever eating out for that same price.  It’s food for thought!  So it’s a choice that Zack and I will talk about.  Although I know that he pretty much feels the same way because as I would be envious of those that would eat out he’d argue that he wouldn’t want to eat out and spend that money on food but rather items that we can see.
I can’t believe that we’ve already been in school for a month!  YIKES!  Where did that month go?  It’s kinda crazy.  I have all our fall stuff out and will be pulling out Halloween decor in a couple of weeks.  I have got to start thinking Halloween costumes.  Kelsie wants to be Jesse from Toy Story, but I’m having a VERY hard time finding that costume.  Not sure what I’m going to do about that one.  We may have to figure out a way to make it!
Hope everybody has a great weekend!

My parents eat out all the time... as in everynight...I love to cook. I prefer to cook. When I visit Mr. Man and his kids:: I cook...tons!! A) because I just love it B) because the "town" he lives in only has fast food not sit down "good" food...so I cook...He loves it, the girls love it, and we have fun cooking, eating and cleaning up-together.

I don't really LIKE to eat out. I'd much rather cook at home. That is why I love menu planning and once a week shopping. I can come home from work, cook and relax. And it IS cheaper. Congrats on the 'official' job. :-)

Congratulations on the job. I'm a teacher and paras are wonderful. Couldn't live without them.
BTW, since you plan on moving to Alabama in a few years, you may as well start rollin' with the TIDE. The Gators are basically over. I love Tebow but was happy to see him move on to the pros.
