Today is fabulously February first. What makes it so fabulous? A fresh start. I always feel like the first day of a new month is the perfect time to start something new. No matter what it is.
Last month, I tried and failed miserably at dieting/working out. Maybe I just wasn’t feeling it. Maybe it was the chocolate cake that Z’s grandmother brought over. Maybe it was all the goodies left from Christmas. {fudge, cookies, candy, etc.} Who knows, but I tried and failed. I cheated and it just wasn’t a good thing. I could never hop back on track.
So here’s to a new start! Today. I have my nutrition plan in hand that Kristin gave me last Spring for the challenge plus I have my workouts ready to go.
Maybe it was a case of the oh’s and ow’s. Maybe it was a case of “didn’t want to smell like icy hot”. Not sure what it was but something happened and I just didn’t work out like I really wanted too.
I am sure to get a great workout in this time. And NO cheats. One day a week I can have off. I will have that one day something special. Not sure what yet, but something. Possibly macaroni and cheese or mashed potatoes…something sinfully good!
Shhh…But I started last Thursday working towards eating according to the plan this week. So far so good. I hit it hard on Thursday and cheated on Saturday night. We got pizza and woops we ordered the Sicilian, which is like 2 inches thick in crust. However, I worked out Sunday morning.
I am giving it my all!

Love new starts! Stay focused girl...you can do it!!!
You know, my husband has had very good luck sticking with a health plan. He eats whatever he would normally eat, but in smaller portions. And he exercizes 30 minutes a day. He's gotten in amazing shape doing just that. I think it works because it isn't extreme.
I hope that you are able to find a plan that works for you for life. It's a good feeling to be in shape. :)
