Looking For A Specific Machine…

With all the technology around you’d think they would have invented this much needed machine.
You have a robotic vacuum cleaner, various dusting agents to help rid your home of that dust, an awesome mop that you no longer have to wring out…(the Swiffer Wet Jet)…Washing Machines that will wash and now dry clean your clothing and wash up to 20 pairs of jeans at once or a king size comforter…A dryer that will steam your items so you won’t have to pull out the iron and ironing board…The dishwasher..This is great, (not new I know) you don’t have to actually wash dishes with your own hands….A convection oven so you can cook a frozen turkey in a fraction of the time…Various cleaning agents that keep you from having to actually clean your shower and tub with a sponge, the list goes on….
But where….is….the….machine….that folds and puts away laundry??
After all of those inventions you’d think that they would have invented this one needed item.  All homes I am sure would have one!  I would wait inline to purchase one in the 20 degree temperatures overnight!  (you know you would too) *smiles*
Since I was sick this past week, the laundry piled up…Sky high!  Zack helped around the house as much as he could, but he didn’t wash one load of laundry…Clothes have not been washed in our home since Christmas!!!  The piles are endless and I will be up to my eyeballs until tonight washing, drying, folding, putting away and ironing (I am not lucky enough to own one of those steamers).
I am not looking forward to it at all!  What household machine would you like to have in your home?

I am with you! I actually enjoy the laundry process...until it comes time to put it away. Even the folding doesn't really bother me. But taking it upstairs and putting it in drawers? Yuck! Let's see if someone out there can make a machine to do it! :)

if there is one thing i wish i could pay someone to do it is laundry! unfortunately, i don't have the luxury of a housekeeper...so it's me! hubby does his share too i must admit. but it just seems to constantly pile up at our house. i might start saving now in case someone ever invents a machine:)
