Birthday, Kids, Ultrasounds…What a Week!

My brother and awesome sister n law brought the girls back home last Saturday and I’ve been so thrilled to have them home!  I missed hugs and kisses so much.  They were on the farm for a week and enjoyed every single second of it.

Fathers Day was low key where Zack went out fishing with my brother on his boat.  They spent the entire day and had a lot of fun.  They caught several fish but nothing long enough to keep.

Monday night we went out to eat at Gandy’s Oyster Bar in town.  We are usually huge Reggae J’s seafood people but we didn’t really fill like driving out to the beach.  So we went to Gandy’s and it really is the best priced, biggest proportions you’ll find around here.  It’s totally worth the wait! {of course we got lucky and didn’t have to wait}  Oh and you should get the cheese grits as one of your sides if you go.  Ohmygoodness awesome!

I went back to the dr’s office on Tuesday for my 2nd follow up appt for my Celexa.  So far so good.  My aunt gave me another rx for it with a couple of refills.  I have to admit that I am feeling better.  Plus my social anxiety is pretty much non-existent.  {thankfully!}  While there, I had her check on a lump that I’ve had in my right breast for several months now.  I have an ultrasound today to check on it.  I follow up with her on July 11th for the results.  Needless to say I am a little worried.  It’s nothing like I’ve ever had before and it seems to have gotten bigger with time.

We have spent almost every afternoon in the pool.  It’s been so hot so why not?  The pool water has been at least 90 degrees and it feels great!  Plus the kids love going out there and it’s a great way to get them to burn out some energy.

I have a bit left to work on in Kayla’s room; new blinds, hang curtains, paint closet door, put up shelving, but I promise to show y’all some progression and her paint color next week.  She loves it!

Cheese grits sounds lovely right now...and good Florida seafood. I'm so glad you are feeling better and keep us posted on the July 11 results. I'm sure Kayla's room is going to look so nice, I know you've worked really hard on it. Enjoy the pool...wish I was there.

I'm happy that y'all had a great weekend with the fam--I just REALLY HATE that I had to miss it :( Maybe one weekend this summer we can come up and visit..that would be fun! I hope good news on the ultrasound, maybe it is just normal but I will be praying for you!

Can't wait to see Kayla's new room. She sounded SO excited about it! Bet it will be super-cute!

I want to swim! It's just been rainy here ALL week and I think it will be rainy all weekend too. Poop.

Sounds like a great weekend. I am so thankful you are feeling better. I just saw you got a good report from the ultrasound. We will pray for the mammogram.
Have a wonderful week and enjoy your girls!
