New Year New Me Update

I didn’t post the last two weeks because the week before last we were in Disney World and then last week I was just really busy.  I had weighed in last Thursday and had lost 1.2lbs.  That was significant to me because I had not worked out at all since the week of the 13th.  And because while at Disney I drank sodas and ate food that was not all that healthy for me.  And I really thought that I would have just stayed the same really since we walked so much while there.
I have yet to start working out yet because last weekend we worked in the back yard and I hurt my hamstrings {both legs!} toting bricks all over the back yard lining in a new flower bed.  So starting Monday I am back on my elliptical.  Starting out fairly easy since I haven’t worked out in 3 weeks. 
I stepped on the scale this morning and was down 1.4lbs.  Which in total with last weeks weigh in is 2.6lbs!!  That means I am only 7.6lbs from my second 10lb goal!  When I hit that goal I will have lost a total of 20lbs.  I am rather excited I’m that close to such a large number. 
I would also like to report that I was able to wear a new pair of trouser style jeans to work today that I had purchased several months ago.  I bought a size smaller {a 10} so that I could lose into them.  I can happily say that they fit great! 
Here’s to getting back on the workout train Monday!

Way to go girl! That's the best surprise to find that you lost when you thought you may of gained or stayed the same. You don't have much more to go! Weeee for summer! :)
