Ask and Answer

My sweet friend Kelli tagged me in a post the other day and I’m gonna play along and answer her questions.  I have been a bad blogger lately because I’ve been so busy so I’m hoping that this helps me get back into the swing of things.

She ask me these questions and I’m gonna try my best to answer them. =)

1.  If you could live anywhere where would it be?

It would be Alabama.  I was born and raised in Bama and by golly I will be back there one of these days!  It’s in the perfect location between the mountains and the beach.  Plus they experience every season, where as here in FL we get Summer and Winter (I’ll call it that even though it’s more comparable to Fall, without the leaves changing colors) 

Now, if it were possible I’d live in Australia.  Not sure why but for some strange reason I’ve always wanted to live down under!

2.  What is your ideal vacation?

I will have to say Disney World.  We’ve been one time and that was more than enough times to decide that it had to be a yearly event.  We had the time of our lives.  There was something that made us all happy.  So, Disney World is def our ideal vacation.

3.  What is your favorite color?

GREEN!!

I have no idea why.  I used to be a pink girl and then blue was my color choice but the past few years, Green is my favorite. 

4.  What are your favorite shows?

I love just about anything on Food Network or HGTV.  The shows on my DVR list right now are Top Chef Desserts {it just aired on Wednesday night} and Sons of Anarchy.  Yea, it’s a short little list, haha, consisting of only 2 things right now.  However, we did watch America’s Got Talent.  This was the first year we watched it though. So good!  Some shows I’ll watch but not routinely; Iron Chef, Chopped, Good Eats, and Holmes on Homes.  Oh not to mention the reruns I watch during the day while waiting to pick up the kids in the afternoons from school; Yes Dear, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens and Friends.

5.  What is your favorite recipe (and share if you'd like)?

Ohhh…I have lot’s!  I share them fairly often with y’all (or at least I try too).  However, I have one that we just had the other night that I will tell y’all about.  Sorry no photos! 

Chicken, Bacon Alfredo

• 1 jar of your favorite Alfredo sauce
• 10 slices bacon, fried crispy and broken into pieces
• 2 chicken breasts, sprinkled with salt, pepper and garlic powder, sautéed in the bacon grease.  Cooked until done.  Sliced into strips.
• 1 box of penne pasta, cooked and drained.

Mix all ingredients together and top with parmesan cheese.  So yummy, quick and easy!  Serve with bread sticks.

6.  What is on your To Do list this week?

Hmmmm.  Well, let’s see…Not much…Zack helped me deep clean the house today.  I have been sick with some sort of allergy cough and it’s so annoying.  So we took down all the curtains and washed them, moved furniture to vacuum beneath…So my to do list will consist of doing nothing much at all besides the normal up keep of the house. :-)

7.  What are your kids going to be for Halloween?

Kelsie is going to be Jesse from Toy Story.  She loves her!  And I have no idea about Kayla.  Funny thing, we were just discussing this on the way home tonight from Kelsie’s open house.  Kayla has no clue.  Of course she is 11 and the older you get the harder it gets to choose something.

8.  Who is your best friend and what is he/she like?

Well I like to consider Zack as my best friend…he knows everything there is to know about me and I tell him everything that’s on my mind, whether or not he wants to listen ;)  Unless it’s about him!  Then I tell Sherri!  She has been my best friend FOREVER, literally!  We talk on the phone for hours every single day.  I tell her everything too, but she’s my gossiping buddy.  Zack isn’t much for gossip!  I can call Sherri at 2am if I need to talk.  She’s like a sister, definitely!
