As you all know Kayla will be 11 in less than a month! Whew, time is flying, fast. With the preteen/tween years upon us we are just waiting patiently for Kayla to start her period. She has been hitting growth spurts, shaving and wearing a bra for sometime now, so becoming a woman is only a short time away. I started at the age of 10 so I wanted to make sure that Kayla was fully aware of what to expect and for her to feel confident in any questions that she may have. Because as we all know menstruation can be an embarrassing topic.
It seems that the new line U by Kotex came out just in time. With the colorful packaging and sleek look, that time of the month doesn’t seem so embarrassing anymore. U by Kotex seems to be perfect for the girls just starting out. I myself am not sure I’ll grab up a clickable hot pink tampon, but who knows, I might!
We received the U by Kotex panty liners to try out. Kayla and I both took them tried them out. I wanted her to get the idea of what wearing something like this would be like, because let’s face it, it is something you have to get used too.
Lucky for Kayla, U by Kotex kept the young girls in mind and these are super soft and barely there. She completely forgot that she had it on.
Wished U by Kotex would have been around when I was 10!
