This fish was super fresh too. A few weeks ago my brother, sister n law, nephew and a friend of theirs came down for the weekend. My brother and nephew are HUGE fishermen, so of course they brought the boat.
Zack went out with them and while they didn’t catch anything that was worth bringing back…they did happen to run into (not literally) that gave them some fish to bring home! Yippeee!!
So we had tons and tons of King Mackerel and Cobia. That night we had fish grilled…It was SO good! We had lot’s of fish that they cleaned and we froze too. So we decided to grill some up!
What do you need?
- Fish for grilling (we used King Mackerel)
- Bottle of Italian Dressing (no low fat, non fat)
- Marinate your fish in the Italian dressing for at least 2 hours…of course as the saying goes the longer you marinate the better flavor you get.
- Heat grill to 350 degrees and cook according to your fish until done. Some fish is going to take longer to cook then others. Just watch it! Fish is done when it is flakes with a fork.
Watch for those bones. And of course, enjoy!
Link up with us and share your recipes…It doesn’t have to be something your eating tonight…I am posting this on Labor Day for today! *smiles* When you cook up a recipe during the week or weekend, just take a photo or two and share with us! We all love trying out new recipes.
