What will you need?
- 1 pound hamburger meat, brown and drain off grease
- 1 can Vegall (mixed veggies) do not drain juice
- 3 small potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 big can tomato sauce
- 1 big can water (use that can from the tomato sauce)
After you brown and drain your hamburger meat, add your mixed veggies, potatoes, tomato sauce and water. I also season this with salt and pepper, minced garlic, celery seed, parsley flakes and a dash of Emeril’s Essence. The seasonings are endless, just add whatever you and your family enjoy the best!
Serve with grilled cheese and or crackers!
Oh and it’s the best after it’s simmered on the stove all day long! Perfect for leftovers too. *smiles*
Enjoy!!
I hope you link up so we can enjoy your meals as well!

I made soup Tuesday night too. Normally I would never even consider it here in July, but it's been a strange July with lots of rain this week and temps only in the high 70s. So soup seemed perfect!
Great recipe Joanna! I will have to try your way...oops your mother's recipe...sounds yummy! I love soup but hubby only likes it in the winter which you know we don't much of a winter here in the South.
I promise I will be back next Thursday for your weekly visit...I always make sure I blog about yours and always add my post to Kimba's DIY of my recipe...
Saw yours from over there and going to try and do the damsik (sp) artwork you shared...
I could go for some of that about now...yum!
