What’s For Dinner Thursday!

So today is the first Thursday of many more Thursday’s to come for “What’s For Dinner Thursday!”.  I started this series because for one I love cooking and baking whether it’s a new recipe I am trying out or a family favorite.  I need to get them all on the computer some how and thought why not share these all with my friends!  *smiles*
If you’d like to grab the button  (it’s over there on the right) for your blog feel free.  It’s on my sidebar for easy access.  Hopefully there will be some great participation (because I want y’all to join in!) and we can do a Mr. Linky every Thursday so we can all share our recipes.  I don’t know about you but I’m always looking to add to my collection!
So without further ado here is my first recipe that I am sharing with y’all!  (It’s a family favorite)
Homemade Pizza
002
003
What you’ll need:
1 Pizza Crust (I chose to use the thin crust)
Pizza Sauce (we like Ragu but you can use any kind you’d like)
2 Cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Pepperoni's, as many as you’d like
2 Tbsp. Minced garlic
1 tsp. Italian Season
Fresh Basil, about 6 to 8 leaves washed, dried and minced
Red Onion, sliced as much as you’d like
1/4 Cup chopped Baby Spinach
Putting it together:
Drizzle EVOO (yes, I chose Rachel’s Ray’s term) onto your pizza pan.
Sprinkle corn meal liberally on top of the oil.
Roll out your dough pulling it to stretch it out square or round, however you prefer.  Pinch the sides to make your edge.
Add sauce with a ladle in the center and swirl to the edge. (this was about a little over half a jar)
Sprinkle with the Italian season and garlic.
Add  your mozzarella cheese, onion, basil, spinach, following with sprinkling the parmesan cheese all over, giving it a good dusting.
Add your pepperonis’ last!  004
Cooking it how:
Bake according to the crust directions.  Enjoy!

I would love for you to join in as well.  Just leave me a comment and I’ll visit ya!

We are going to make pizza tomorrow. I would love to try one day to make my own pizza crust, but I'll start with the store bought first. I just did a post on apple dumplings...did you see it? I'll have to join in on this next week.
Um, love my blog...I'm getting a lot of compliments. And I moved your design tag towards the top.
