The kids had a blast on Easter. The bunny came and brought each of the girls goodies…
They each got a chocolate bunny, Reese Cups, Little Pet Shop and a movie. (Kelsie, Bolt and Kayla, HSM 3)
The bunny also made sure that our nieces had goodies as well. They are going through a tough time right now and wouldn’t have had Easter if it weren’t for the family.
They were all really excited about their goodies.
We had lot’s of food….Ham, cheesy scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, greens, corn bread, corn on the cob…Lemon Cake, Tin Roof Sundae Pie, Bird’s Nests and Cookies.
The Lemon Cake is from the most recent Kraft magazine..Here is the recipe
The Tin Roof Pie also is from Kraft…We have made this several times, it’s super easy and SO very good. Here is the recipe
The egg hunt…40 eggs (10 a piece)…Wow, I didn’t think it was hard to hide that many until I got out there and was running out of places to hide them! The only pictures I could get of the kids was the back sides of them running for eggs.
After the egg hunt, the girls changed clothes and put on something that could get a little sandy…The sand box got filled up for the summer and the kids loved it!

I love those baskets, we have one for my daughter from PBKids too. Aren't they the cutest? That lemon cake looks delish, was it as good as it looks? I've made a few desserts from them and been disappointed.
