In an attempt to redo the girls/guest bathroom, I am doing so on a strict budget. Flooring in this bathroom is ceramic tile, original to the house of course, that was built in 1969. Along with this original tile, is what I believe is it’s original dirt as well! EEK!
Yes, ladies, the grout from this tile is yuck! I mean, at first, I really didn’t think that it was dirt, just the color of the grout. Why you ask? Because I clean the floor in the bathroom with bleach and I thought bleach got everything clean.
Well after much searching online and concocting my own cleaners to clean the floor, I got nowhere fast. So it prompted a visit to the big Orange store for some grout cleaner.
I found grout and tile cleaner by the gallons and spray bottles…But most of them all were toxic (use in well ventilated areas). Well, I didn’t want to melt the paint on the newly painted walls, so I looked further and found something that wasn’t so toxic.
Yay! Now, on my hands and knees like Cinderella I have been scrubbing with a grout brush (you can find these at Target) and this cleaner and look how far I have gotten….
Stay tuned for the big reveal soon! We only have a couple of things left in here, and we are all done!!
