I have been scanning none other than Pinterest as of, well ever since I heard about it, and I was looking for fun, free, at home, boredom busting, cheap, some educational, did I mention free stuff to do this Summer with the kids.
I have a board titled Kids Fun, but I recently created one titled Summer 2012 Must Dos so that I could keep track of things we definitely wanted to do or at least really try hard to do. We do a lot of pool time and this year we plan on a lot of beach time as well, but I also want other things and so this is our Summer bucket list!
{1} Glow in the dark bubbles. {cut open glow stick, pour into bubbles}
{2} Glow Stick Balloons for the pool.
{3} Glow sticks in the pool.
{4} Movie night at Seaside.
{5} Bowling.
{6} Fly kites at the beach.
{7} Feed the ducks.
{8} Make a backyard tent and read books or color in coloring books.
{9} Family Movie Night with movie themed dinner.
{10} Go see a family movie.
{11} Ice Cream while at Miracle Strip
{12} Sno Cones while at Miracle Strip
{13} Family Game Night - We all pick one game and play one round
{14} Make bird feeders
{15} Sidewalk chalk paint
{16} Make home made bread
{17} Eat at a new restaurant
{18} Create a craft from Pinterest
{19} Wii Sports family tournament with ball park food
{20} Attend one summer concert
Can’t wait! We are counting down the days until school is out for Summer!!

Sounds like you are going to have a fun summer! I love all the glow in the dark ideas. I've been stocking up on cheap glow stick to take with us on vacation:)
Sounds like a fun list! I love the Wii Family Sports Tournament...our kids are tween/teens so they would love something like that. Happy Summer!
