There is nothing that I like more than a yummy sorta different side dish. This is exactly that. It’s tater tots on a whole new level. This is the grown up version of tater tots! However, your kids will still love them just the same, or possibly like my kids, even better!
This recipe comes from one of Rachel Ray’s cookbooks that I have and I know y’all will love it. :)
What do you need?
- 3 cups frozen tater tots
- 1 cup shredded Asiago cheese
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
What do you do?
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Scatter the tater tots on a cookie sheet. {I lined mine with non stick foil}. Bake for 12 mins or according the the directions. {you want to get them crispy}
- Once they are finished, take them out and sprinkle the seasoning and red pepper flakes on top, mix them up to get them coated…sprinkle with the cheese and put them back in the oven until the cheese is melted.
Enjoy! By the way, I used Italian season, 1 tsp, as opposed to the thyme and oregano and they turned out great.
