Maybe Alicia Keys said it best; "lets here it for New York, New York, New York"! Ok, so maybe you've guessed my big news after all that. ;-) But in case not....Kayla and I are going to the Big Apple!!!! I'm not sure that you really can feel the excitement in this post but it is here, I promise!
I got an email recently with an invitation to a mother/daughter event with Crayola and as soon as I read "all expenses included", I hit reply and told the PR rep YES!
This is HUGE! We {that includes me} have never been on an airplane at all, let alone to New York. Kayla and I are super excited. Heck, I've never even been above the Mason Dixie Line! :-) So this is major.
I will have final details very soon. The event takes place the weekend of November 19th. We'll fly up for just the weekend, but there will be plenty of time for lot's of memories!
