Hard Candy - Review

One day last week I confessed that I don’t leave the house without wearing makeup, no matter where I go.  {sad, I know, but so true}  Well there is one brand that I know you’ve probably heard of and that’s Hard Candy.  And if you haven’t heard of them then you should really check them out because their line of products is really fun.

Hard Candy has everything from products for your face like tinted moisturizer & primer to lip gloss for your lips and just about everything you can think of for your eyes {from eye liners to fun eye shadows that sparkle}, they even carry lot’s of beautifully colored nail polishes. And what do you need to put all of your Hard Candy stash in?  Cosmetic bags of course!  Oh and I almost forgot to mention the body products like shimmery sprays and flavored body powders!

Ok, you get the idea, right, they have it all.  Your make up needs are covered with Hard Candy!

I got the opportunity to review several items from their line and were very pleased with them all.

I received the Baked Glitter Eye Shadow in Lunar Eclipse{very pretty shade, btw}

What I really like about the baked eye shadow, is that you can use this either wet or dry.  It just depends on the look your going for.  Wet for a more intense color and dry for just a sheer hint.

Another eye shadow that I received was the Powder Keg in lockdown.  The loose powder is made from pearlized powder which really gives you a better color feel then your normal pressed eye shadows.  After trying the loose eye shadow powder, I may not go back to pressed again.

This was a lot of fun, the “chopstick liner”, Take Me Out Liner in sailor.  It’s sorta a metallic blue.  This blue isn’t for your everyday use, if you have green eyes like me.  However I think applied to eyes that are blue or even gray would be beautiful!

To finish up the eyes I received two different mascaras…1,000 Lashes in underground brown and Lash Call in black.  I really liked both of these, so I can’t say I have a favorite.  They both seemed to lengthen and thicken like most mascaras do.

Last but not least, I received the Painted Lady lipstick in delusional.  I loved the little ribbon on the end of the tube.  Makes it really easy to spot it when in your purse or cosmetic bag!  I also liked that it didn’t leave your lips feeling dry. {some lipsticks do that, I’m not a fan of that dry feeling}

Hard Candy products can be found at your local Walmart for an average price of $6.00  I think that’s great pricing for makeup, since some things cost upward of $10.00!

For the latest information follow Hard Candy on Facebook and Twitter.

**we received the above mentioned items for review purposes only.  this is our honest opinion and you may or may not agree.
