The FruitGuys - Review

I am all about getting food delivered to my door step.  After all grocery shopping is not my cup of tea.  The crowds, the kids, the shopping lists, the never ending search for something that you can’t find, I could go on and on.  Not to mention the fact that searching for organics is not always easy.  I can find a few things that are organic but usually the selection is lacking.  This is where The FruitGuys comes into play.

The FruitGuys is one of the only companies {that I know of} that delivers fresh fruit or vegetables that are organic to your door. Yep, you got that right, they come to you!  Whether you want them to deliver to your house, your work, or a school

We recently received a box of their fruit and veggie mix.  It was a lot of fun to receive and to try out new veggies.  Not to mention that they are all organic!

“We buy produce primarily sourced from regional, organic farms when in season. A subscription to TakeHome provides food that is good for your family, good for the farmers, and good for the planet.”

Orders that start at $24.00 plus delivery charges isn’t bad considering that it’s organic, convenient and they give you recipes to cook your weekly items and you get new things depending on the season, etc.

Our weekly assortment was:

  • white peach
  • valencia orange
  • yellow nectarine
  • apricot
  • red plum
  • red onion
  • green beans
  • garlic scapes
  • baby chioggia beets
  • dill

Thank goodness for the recipe card because I have never cooked with beets before! But we are definitely excited to try a new vegetable!

**we received the above mentioned items for review purposes only.  this is our opinion and may differ from yours.
