My Dreams Came True

Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted to go to Disney World. Mother also wanted to go but since my dad had already been a couple of times with his other kids {from his first marriage} he didn’t want to ever take us. He said there wasn’t much there, yadda yadda.

Well thanks to the Social Media Moms Conference we were able to go. Yea, I had several days filled with conferences but I did my homework. I mapped out every ride that I wanted to ride and checked and double checked the itinerary and made it possible.

february 2010 005 When I saw these gates after our 6 hour drive, I nearly cried. Yes, I was that excited! I have never been a huge Mickey Mouse fan, I mean yea, I grew up watching Disney movies and the Disney channel, but heck I wasn’t a die hard fan, until now!

Thanks to the conference we were able to have some great perks. However crazy me only brought the camera to the first night! {oh well, there is always next year ; ) }

Zack and the kids had a great time at the ESPN Wide World of Sports, while I was attending a conference.

This trip was discounted and we received special entertainment, food and other complimentary items thanks to the Social Media Moms Conference. However, this is my honest opinion!

I'm so happy that your childhood dream came true! I'm also glad your back...I didn't know what to do with myself since we didn't have our multiple daily conversations for a few days!!! :)

I am so glad that everyone had a great time. I have never met you but I can tell that you are a great Mom. You were able to share this wonderful experience with your family.

It is soooo green!

I grew up near Disney Land, which is NOT Disney World, but I've been so many times. I don't know exactly how the two compare except that Disney World is for sure larger and more diverse.

I'm glad that your family had this opportunity. Family vacations are truly wonderful! And that is a very family friendly place!

Hi Joanna
I really enjoyed reading about your trip to WDW. Looks like you all had a great time. We visited The Polynesian Resort when we were last there and we all agreed we would love to stay there next time. I can tell from your girls faces they were having a wonderful time. Glad your dreams came true eventually.

Looks like fun! I miss Disney, we havent been to the park in 3 years, even though we only live 45 minutes away. We did do a character breakfast at the Polynesian though. It was great!
