Daddy Daughter Date Night

Last night the school put on a little dance for daughters and their dads.  Only the pre K through 3rd was invited so Kelsie and Zack went on a little date.

Kelsie wanted to be “so pretty” and so I let her pick out her dress and she also picked out Zacks shirt so he would match. *smiles*  She wanted him to “be pretty too.”

Hotdogs, punch, chips and cookies were on the menu.  Ring Around the Rosey, London Bridge and others were on the play list.

They had a lot of fun.  Most of all Kelsie had a lot of fun.

I hope they do this every year.  And if not I think that every few months a daddy daughter date night should be on the schedule, for both girls.

That is so cute. My hsb would take each one of our kids by themselves for a breakfast on Sat am. So each one had their time w Dad alone every 3 weeks. I think it cut down a lot of rivalry. Since he was in the military and he lost a lot of time due to deployments but they always new they had Dad time

Cute dress. That is a great idea for the school to organize. I know Jamison's school mentioned maybe doing something like that. Daddy/daughter time is important.

Too cute and I bet they had a WONDERFUL time. Lexi's Valentine Daddy/Daughter dance was postponed due to snow but they have re-scheduled for March 4th. She can't wait.
