Hurricane Ida…

image

You see that red area…..that’s the Hurricane Warning area…That’s where we are….When did we find out.  Oh, uh, LAST NIGHT!  Why?  Well because we haven’t been watching the news/weather Saturday.  So..today we have lot’s to do….putting away pool toys, floats and stuff. Toys off the back porch and shopping.

Shopping….because we need milk, bread, water and batteries!  This is expected to be a tropical storm when it comes in but we will have 20-25 sustained winds with up to 40 something mph gusts.  Not too worried about losing power because we live in town and our power is on the same line as one of the main stop lights.  BUT, you never know and SO we are going to get prepared!

I feel your anxiety, even over a TS! You still need those supplies and you could really get a gully washer. Hope you get through it with out too much damage, are your schools closed for tomorrow?

I saw that this morning and thought of you! Take care of yourself...I know you have probably been in these things before...as I have living in Savannah years ago but it is still better to be careful cause things change so fast.

Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers...oh and if you want you can wait till after all this mess is over with on the swap...
