Blue Christmas Inspirations

Yes, I have passed by Thanksgiving decorating and moved right on into Christmas! *smiles*  One of the few reasons why is because we won’t be home that weekend so we have decided to let Christmas begin in our home!

I was looking through some photos online and the memory of my grandmothers blue Christmas tree was on my mind so I started thinking of a blue Christmas…. {her tree wasn’t blue but it did have all blue lights}

Although these decorations are just beautiful, we don’t have one color to a tree or decorations.  We like the traditional colors of Christmas.  The exception is the girls’ rooms and their pink trees.

Do y’all decorate with all one color for Christmas?

On another note, if you are part of the Ornament Swap I will be pulling a name this weekend for the giveaway!  So look for that post this weekend with a photo of what you’ll receive.  Good Luck!

This is my 3rd Christmas with my hubby! But this will be our first Christmas that we get to really decorate and have a full size tree!
So no I don't have a color theme I thought it would be cool to do a couple different ones and then change them every year! But Christmas stuff is expensive.. and I never seem to have much money after Christmas lol.. so I just have a all things Christmas theme! lol. I love traditional stuff! I think I have bugandy and gold ornaments my mom got us last year! so that's my base theme I guess.. But I made a bunch of different ornaments this year! I'm really excited to finally get it out! I would of had it out awhile ago! But we are moving things around and getting carpets cleaned the next couple of weeks so it looks like I will be waiting till Thanksgiving weekend!
Happy Friday!

My grandmother also loved blue. She had a lot of blue in her Christmas decorating. She passed on a little over a year ago. I wish I had had the presence of mind to ask for her old tree with all the decorations. I would love to have my grandmother's tree at Christmas time. She had such a distinct tree. It would have been a lovely way to "include" her at Christmas.
