A Little Black Spray Paint Will Do You Good

Ok, a couple of weeks ago I posted about my new BFF white spray paint…I guess that didn’t last long because I pulled out the black spray paint for this little project.

Do you have one of these wooden paper towel holders?  They are a great asset to your kitchen but not to your decor unless you have a lot of wooden accents.

A couple of coats of black spray paint later and I saved money on having to buy a new one!  Love when I save money!  You see that wooden basket over there on the right?  Well it holds our napkins and it’s gonna get a new color soon too.  But you’ll have to wait to see what color I go with!

Paint is a miracle worker sometimes, isn't it? It transforms an ordinary thing...and cheaply!

That turned out wonderful...
It's nice to see that someone else has napkins AND paper towels on their counter too!

Have a great weekend...Be writing you Monday!

Looks 100% better, especially against your beautiful countertop!

My only concern is, if you used a flat finish, the black paint on your holder may become blotchy from the paper towel dust and water. A semi-gloss finish cleans much better and doesn't mind contact with water.

Love the black paper holder! I painted mine black several years back, but mine has a larger flat top on it...I'm trying to come up with something clever for the top. Either something painted or maybe one of my knobs, or paper of some kind. Still thinking on that one...
