Kelsie’s Bedroom

Kelsie will be 4 years old at the end of August.  This age is really hard when it comes to bedroom design.  Favorite colors change as does themes.  We chose to leave Kelsie’s room white until she was old enough to choose what color she wanted.  She has let us know that her favorite color is blue, and that pink is unacceptable.  With some help from Rhoda we have decided to indeed go with blue.  A blue shade from her bedding which was purchased last year.
Soon blue will adorn her wall and she will get new accessories, curtains and pillows.  I believe that I will either break down and purchase a sewing machine or enlist the help of my niece.
Kelsie’s room is tiny and her bed is huge!  We decided to purchase bunk beds and split them up amongst the girls since they both needed new beds at the same time. (this was cheaper)
Some inspirations that I have found and would love to incorporate as I makeover….
I love the tree in this room.  I want to incorporate one in the design of Kelsie’s room.  I am not sure how I am going to do this yet, but I will figure something out.  We will replace the birds with butterflies!

I absolutely love this room.  The bed, the hanging book case, the little clothes hanging on the line around the bed!!  Oh how sweet!

What a fun way to hang up your curtains!

I love the baskets under this bed.  Great storage!  Especially in small rooms.

I can’t wait to get started on Kelsie’s room and show you what I come up with!

Joanna....I love all the bedrooms!

Oh I did lexi's room with butterflies also...we added some of Tinkerbell vinyl wall peel offs or whatever they are called...the more pixie type ones than actual tinkerbell along with butterflies, flowers, dragonflies and she loves it. I did her room in a soft lavender color...got her bedding from Kmart well her comforter...regular sheets...the mesh hanging butterflies for the ceiling..I will have to share a pic of her room.

Those rooms are really cute :) I love that tree one the first one and the "fence" bed. I just redid our kids rooms to make room for our newest addition. I think the girls' room came out cute, but I always have issues with furniture placement.
