What’s In My Bag….Tag!

I have been tagged by Kelli a new blogging friend of mine.  I love her blog!  She seems like an awesome mom and spectacular cook.  You should hear of some of the things she cooks up for her family…Yum!

Here are the rules for the tag:

1. Post a picture of whatever bag you have today - not last weekend when you and your hubby went out to that fabulous restaurant. No cheating!!!
2. Tell us how much it cost. This is a no-judgment zone -- there will be no ridiculing or eye rolling here. And, if there is a story to go along with how you obtained it, I'd love to hear it.
3. Now tag some fellow bloggers and link back to this post so people know why you are posting pictures of your bag.

Here's the Bag:

feb2009 002 What’s In The Bag:

feb2009 005Not much, huh?  In all honesty, I don’t keep a lot in my purse because I hate carrying around a load of things that I may or may not use. (just some essentials!)

  • My green wallet…Because I love green and because I need my cash and debit/credit cards!
  • My Flip N Tumble Bags.  I received these to do a review for and I love them!
  • Kayla’s little pink money pouch.  So when we are out and about and she asks for something she can buy it with her own money. *smiles*  (horrible momma)
  • Receipts from this weekends’ shopping adventures…Home Depot and Target, several times at Target.
  • A hair brush, don’t wanna have frumpy hair!  Plus the kids needs touched up sometimes.
  • My stylish BCBG glasses.  Do I wear them?!  Uh huh, when I have to drive when it’s dark out.
  • Paint samples (that we picked out at Home Depot) for the kids/guest bathroom.
  • Calculator…You always need one of these!
  • Mom Spit…Love this…Got it for a review as well and can’t live without it.  Kids get sticky and I just use this stuff.  Works wonders, plus it smells really good.
  • Band-aids…No response for that one…I have just been out too much and then somebody end up needing one.
  • Chap Stick and Soft Lips….These are always with me…I hate dry chapped lips.  If I am not with my purse I will grab one or the other to have on hand in my pocket.
  • Cough drops…never know when you might need them!
  • Gum….It’s Kelsie’s…We only buy her Trident so I keep it in my purse for when she wants a piece…This way it’s outta sight outta mind when we are at home,
  • Falling in Love lotion by Philosophy,  If you have not tried out the Philosophy line of scents…Oh…You must!  Falling in Love is my favorite….Although I am sure that Grace smells wonderful as well.
  • A pen, I always end up somewhere needing one.  So I figured I would just throw one in so I’ll have it.  Although it doesn’t come in handy if you don’t have paper…Hmmm..Maybe that is something I should add…I think I usually write on receipts!

And there you have it…What’s in my bag!  It’s not glorious or anything spectacular.  I got my purse last summer at Target and love it! ($30.00) I spent more than what I normally do…Oh yes, this girl will not be carrying around a Coach or Dooney and Bourke…I just won’t pay that sorta money for one.  I will just drool over yours! *smiles*  Maybe one day when I have the money to just blow on something such as this, I will.  But until that day I will keep my tissue ready when walking in a department store which carries these brands…And wipe as I proceed through the isles.

Now to tag!

We went to Home Depot and Target as well this weekend...at HD,we bought some textured paintable wallpaper and FINALLY bought some tile board so we can make our HUGE dry erase board. Only $13.87 for a 4x8 foot sheet of it and I had it cut down to a 4x6 so it would fit on the wall. The leftovers I had cut into two smaller boards so the girls could have their own individual boards to draw on.But you know what,we have to go back today because we forgot to get the molding to frame it! DUH!
At Target, bought some towels,a floor lamp and a few little odds and ends.

Thanks for playing, and the compliments! Loved seeing your bag. What's is the Mom spit, that sounds like something I need.
