This Southern Girls Christmas Tree

The long awaited…(I doubt it, but I like to think you all wanted to see it.) *smiles*
Pictures never do a tree justice as you probably all know from taking pictures of your own tree.  Our tree is nothing fancy.  There is not theme but a mismatched assortment of ornaments from my husband and my after Christmas shopping as well as the kids first, second, and so on Christmas’s.
The kids have their own tree with their ornaments that they have picked out and decorated themselves.
Enjoy!november2008 113 november2008 115 Linus with his blue blanket.  This ornament has a lot of meaning to us because Kelsie has a blue blanket that she has drug around since she could crawl.  It’s her “weewee” and she can’t leave the house without it!november2008 114These were a set of 12 ornaments that I bought from Hobby Lobby and painted up.  I thought that I took pictures as I went but I am seeing now after uploading these all, that well I didn’t.  I just used a paint marker to write our names on some as well as Christmas words and used daubers to do red and green dots.  november2008 117 This Santa was painted years ago back when I was in Girl Scouts.  I didn’t paint him of course, I was only 10 or so.  He was painted by our troop leader.
november2008 118 A (J) because my name starts with it, plus we all got cute initial ornaments last year for the tree.
november2008 119 We can’t have a tree without a little Gator love!  We have about 4 ornaments on our tree, each a little different, all of them Gator related.
november2008 120 My love for coffee grows deep!  Even my tree shows my coffee addiction.
And our tree topper.  I mentioned the other day that this is a replica of one that we had on our tree when I was growing up.  Not your typical Angel, but still it means a lot to me.
november2008 121 And now my tree….

I also want to thank you all for Kelsie’s well wishes.  She feels a lot better today thanks to Sudafed and Mucinex.
