Jewelry Making…

Not too long ago, Kayla had some interest in making jewelry. Not knowing any clue on how to do this, I said, sure! What mother wouldn’t want to make their little girl happy with some colorful beads and lot’s of threading?

At Hobby Lobby, Kayla chose carefully. The beads in the first picture were her favorite, she loves blue and there fore all the colors in this particular bag struck her interest. She loves it as do I. The only complaint, I do have is, we used metal wire which is stiff. I am unsure at what to use the next go round, since the rubbery thread like material does not hold knots! We know this from experience. *smiles* Beads falling across the floor and underneath furniture where you have to lay down to access anything at all…

This next picture, isn’t colorful at all, not meaning that beautiful necklace, but the actual picture, the photographer must have had lighting issues that day. *smiles*

She chose her wooden beads carefully to match that Zebra print pendant. She wanted something that stood out, that no one else had. She wears it to school with pride!

So cute! It is fun to have little projects like that. I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to be able to do things like that with me!
