Panama City Beach Easter Weekend Happenings

Are you in {or visiting} Panama City Beach this weekend? Well your in for a real treat if you have kids. {still fun for those that don’t, just read past the egg hunts}
There are two Easter Egg Hunts going on this Saturday {April 23rd}.  The first egg hunt that I’m going to tell you about is at Miracle Strip at Pier Park
The Easter Egg Scramble will take place on the “green space” from noon until 3pm.  The Easter bunny himself will be onsite!  There will be different age groups so that the little ones don’t get run over by the older kids.
Also taking place on Saturday is Schooners annual Easter Egg Hunt, Little Locals.   Due to the popularity of this egg hunt there is a registration at 9am.  Each age group has a specific time to hunt.   There will be prizes, candy, gift certificates and even trophies in each age category.  Schooners is also serving brunch from 9am until 11 on Saturday.
If you were thinking about going to Zoo World on Saturday, they are hosting an egg hunt as well.  It’s free, with paid admission.  It starts at 11 and the Easter bunny will also be there.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you don’t have any kids {or even if you do} there are a couple of things going on this weekend that may be of interest to you.
If your going to be at Pier Park on Saturday, why not stop by one of our favorite places, Reggae J’s.  They are celebrating the 3rd annual Green Spring Reggae Fest.  {starts at 11am}  Lot’s of Reggae Music, great food, limbo contests, face painting, hair braiding and lot’s more!
Also happening at Pier Park, the Emerald Coast Corvette Club Car Show will be held on Friday and Saturday. {click on their link for details and hours}
