Schwan’s Fresco by Scotto Meals Review

If you know me then you know that I am a picky eater. You will also know that I love quick and easy dinners. These are usually hard to come by unless I’m making something quick from scratch. After all not many frozen meals please my palette. That’s what I get for being so picky.

I have heard so much about Schwan’s but I had never thought about ordering anything from them. My reason, again I am picky, it’s frozen and I was scared to waste money on something that I wouldn’t like. I never even took the time to check out their website prior to a few weeks ago.

I was contacted by Schwan’s to see if I wanted to do a review for a couple of their Fresco by Scotto meals. I was hesitant at first. Scared of doing a review that I wouldn’t be able to write because I wasn’t able to eat the food.

I am happy to say that despite my first thoughts, I am happy that I decided to go through with the review. {thanks to my husband} We received two Fresco meals and both were above and beyond my expectations.

I chose to receive the Penne Gratin and Lasagna with Meatball Sauce. Both meals were easy to cook {just throw in the oven for a set amount of time} and tasted wonderful. I have no complaints. The little chunks of pancetta in the Penne Gratin was a perfect addition and the meatballs in the lasagna were superb. Both were better than comparable frozen entrées that I have had before.

Now I know y’all would love to give a couple of these meals a try as well!
