Bathroom Inspiration Board Number 1

We are working slowly on getting our bathroom to where we want it.  Who knew everything was SO expensive!  Since we don’t want to rack up a huge credit card bill we are taking things at snail speed.

You read about our master bathroom renovation day one…well now I am going to share with you what we are planning on doing.

Right now we have white tiles on the floor, which is perfectly neutral. {thank goodness}  However, the walls, tub, toilet and sink are a different story.  Between sweet pea green and yellow, we weren’t happy.

So to start this is what we are going for, right now.  After we beef up our master bath savings fund we will tackle the inspiration board number 2.

Going with a the Alabaster glass theme that we have throughout our home now on all ceiling fixtures, we will go with the awesome exhaust fan/light for the ceiling.  We will carry that theme as well as the brushed nickel look above the vanity.

Keeping the vanity for now, we will paint it white to help it blend better.  Also coming in with white is the new white waffle weave shower curtain.  We have uncovered a medicine cabinet opening {more on that later}, so we are gonna use it!  A white one will look great to house all our little everyday essentials.

Last but not least is the paint color.  The paint color is a light tan/sand color.  It’s the same one that is in our den/family/play room now.  We have an extra can and it will look great in here.

No, no bead board yet.  That will be on number 2’s inspiration board.  *smiles*

Of course there will be additions like, new towels a mirror, shelving photos etc.  However, we are going to keep this bathroom in beachy sorta palm tree color scheme. I am thinking of doing black and white photos of the kids at the beach in chocolate brown frames, we shall see.  Right now this is what I have in mind.
