I’m Gonna Miss Y’all

When November rolls around I am so excited for what the supermarkets bring in.  It’s a shame that you can only purchase EggNog once a year during the months of November and December.  For some reason the week before Christmas I just can’t find it anywhere.
Last year we discovered a brand of EggNog like no other…Hood.
We happened to be shopping for our normal brand of EggNog when I saw imagesomething orange that caught my eye.  Pumpkin EggNog.  I had never heard of such and I was curious about it so we grabbed it up.  If we didn’t like it we could always have given it to the dog.
Well, the verdict IT was spectacular!  So this year we made sure to imagepurchase not only regular EggNog but Pumpkin as well.  We also noticed a new flavor on the local shelves, Sugar Cookie.  Yep, Sugar Cookie.  Oh MY…it’s good too!
You can’t go wrong {at least we think} with Hood EggNog.  We have only found this brand at Publix and that is ok with us, we would drive out to the beach if we had to just to get some.
After Christmas we managed to pick up one of each flavor, the pumpkin is almost gone.  And I know that we will miss this beverage until November rolls around again.
Apparently there are other flavors we don’t know about as well.  Cinnamon, Gingerbread, Vanilla, Golden and Light.  I hope that they put out some of these here next season!
Is there something that y’all look forward to every year during a certain season?  It doesn’t have to be just Christmas season.

Morning Joanna,

I was worried you were leaving us!!!!! I have never been fond of eggnog but I might need to try some of those flavors.

I tried pumpkin eggnog this year. It was all right. I got the light eggnog for my husband and I actually liked this the best. It isn't too thick. I think they sell eggnog year-round at the super wal-mart.

I've never had eggnog, mostly because I lack the courage to try it :o)

I love when the Easter candy comes out. Maybe because it's a reminder that winter will end at some point! I also get really excited when the fall decor and Christmas decor come out.

I am so not an eggnog person. We might have to try the different flavors to change our minds.
One of my favorite things is pumpkin rolls. I think you can eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Have a fabulous day!
