However mine didn’t look this great! So I guess that is the plus side right! *smiles*
Sloppy Joes
What do you need?
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/4 lbs ground meat (we use ground chuck)
- 1 tbsp steak season (McCormick is our choice)
- 1 medium size onion, chopped (we use red)
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 4 hamburger buns
Add oil, onion, meat to skillet, start browning. Mix together your brown sugar, steak seasoning and Worcestershire sauce, add to skillet while your browning your meat.
Once meat has browned, drain off excess oil and add in tomato sauce, tomato paste and vinegar. Heat for about 5 minutes.
Serve on toasty buns! (I toast my buns in the oven under the broiler with butter until they are just brown around the edges)
Enjoy!
Don’t forget to link up and share your recipes! We all are always on the look out for new ones!

Hey Joanna! That sloppy joes picture looks great, maybe I should have taken one from there too! My mojo chicken was delicious, but I didn't make it very pretty. I'll do better next time!
My link is up even though it show my name. Let me know if it's not working.

Too early...I can't spell or use correct grammar! ...even though it doesn't show my name... is what I should have said.

I've done that, where you just get wrapped up in the moment. Our week has been strange so there is nothing planned. Next week I'll have something good.
Mmmhh. We just might have sloppy Joes tonight! Thanks!
Now that's a sloppy sloppy joe! Yum!
My mouth is watering just looking at the photo!
I have been looking at your blog work on your blog site and am getting very interested... I really need to get mine more professional looking. I have some ideas. What is your waiting period like for your $85 makeover? I bet you are very busy... I love your work!

I love Sloppy Joes! My grandma makes hers from scratch (unlike me, I use the pouch of seasoning), and she adds oatmeal. Its actually really good.
