Holidays are as Busy as Spring Cleaning

I am super busy! I have yet to finish up that project, but it has to be done today, so no rush! *smiles* And I did a project last night and finished it. I guess I should have worked on the other one, but I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and bought a couple of items and did a project that I literally look at every single day. It was bothering me, I had to fix it! That picture will come after Thanksgiving.

I have a list a mile long. Hosting Thanksgiving dinner is one big role. This is the first year that I have taken on such a task, and I must admit it's great!

I have washed my china, thought about polishing the silver, changed my mind quickly because who really has time to polish silver?! And I have come to the conclusion that we don't have enough matching glasses so I have to buy some, like tonight!

I should really finish up the laundry, folding and putting it all away, but who really likes to fold it and put it away? When do you think they will invent something to do this for us? You can buy a washing machine and dryer that keeps you from having to iron items, I wonder when it will fold them too....

I have another project that I will be working on, it involves ornaments and paint. This is something that I have wanted to do for a while. You see these in boutiques all over and well, I am not paying $$ for one ornment when I can make a set of 12 for the same price.

Tomorrow, I am cooking...Pumpkin Cheesecake (not my own recipe this year, but Paula Deen's), Mac & Cheese, with 6 cheese (thank you for the recipes, btw, I have decided to go with one from Paula Deen), Sweet Potato Casserole, Chicken and dressing and Pecan Pie. The other items will be brought over by family members. My MIL just had to do the turkey, otherwise I would have ordered one from QVC. Which are delish! We ordered them last year and they were fantastic!

Gonna run, I have got to get on my list of things to do. When will you be cooking for Thanksgiving?

I tried Paula Deen's macaroni and cheese and it was great!
