Watermelon Jello Pudding Pops

watermelon jello pudding pops

As the girls and I were sitting down and going through Pinterest trying to decide what to add to our “What’s Cooking Wednesday” paper Kelsie said these were a must do.  And so we sat out to do them last Wednesday.  Now, we did not follow the recipe really to a T that I had pinned.  And that’s ok…the girls loved them and that’s all that matters….right?  Right!

So what do you need?

  • Jolly Rancher Green Apple Flavored Jello {you can use ANY flavor green jello; lime for ex.  of you could even use Pistachio pudding or vanilla pudding with green food coloring, use whatever you like as long as it’s green}
  • Jolly Rancher Watermelon Flavored Jello
  • Instant Vanilla Pudding
  • Mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

What do you do?

  1. Make the Instant Vanilla Pudding according to the directions on the box and put that in the fridge.
  2. Make the Green Apple Jello according to the directions and put that in the fridge. {not the mold directions}
  3. Make the Watermelon Jello according to the directions except….Spoon 2 Tablespoons into the bottom of your popsicle molds.  We used 10 with jello leftover to put in the fridge.
  4. Now, freeze this for 40 minutes.
  5. Take it out, stir in 1/2 teaspoon of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips.  Make sure to get them suspended a little as well.  We used a skewer to help get them all around inside.
  6. Top with 2 Tablespoons of vanilla pudding and freeze and additional 20 minutes.
  7. Top that with the green jello, pudding, whatever you used to the top and put the sticks in.
  8. Freeze them overnight!  The Jello will freeze, but it takes it a while, so we were safe and went with overnight.

When your ready to enjoy them, dip the molds in hot water and pull out.  Enjoy!
