Feed Those Reindeer!

We all love this time of year for the joy and magic, but we are also selling ourselves short if we don’t love this time of year because of the goodies.  This is the time of year that there are always goodies lying out on the kitchen counter to snack on as you go buy.  This is the time of year that people bake when the rest of the year they don’t do a thing.
We always have something fixed up snack/goodies each week during the month of December.  Oops.  We slacked this year and missed last week.  That is ok because we will make up for that! *smiles*
My first recipe I want to share with you is for Reindeer FoodNot only will you and the kids love it but this is what we leave the reindeers every year.  This has become a tradition that the kids love.  They love making sure there is reindeer food so that the reindeers can eat while Santa has his cookies!

3 cups Cheerios
5 cups rice chex cereal
4 cups pretzels 16 oz M&Ms
1 1/2 pounds white chocolate
Mix all ingredients together except the white chocolate.  Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler on the stove top.  Pour over the top of your mixture and mix well. {you will use your hands to get it thorough mixed together}
Lay out in a single layer on wax paper or foil until dry.  Break apart and store in air tight container.
Enjoy!

YUM...that looks really good. I have never had that one....we might have to make it this year!

We have always sprinkled oats and glitter in the yard for the reindeer. The glitter is so the reindeer see the oats....lol
